Early medieval sacral architecture in the Písek region- revision and analysis
NOVODVORSKÝ, Petr
Písecko is one of the South Bohemian regions where considerable building activity was carried out in the early Middle Ages. At that time, the efforts to colonise the uninhabited and vast forested landscape gave rise to several important cultural centres. The oldest of these emerged at the end of the 12th century in Milevsko. The influential Grand Duke George founded a monastery here, which he filled with a convent of the Premonstratensian Order. There was a workshop at the monastery, which influenced the construction activity of the surrounding area. As a result, a number of rural churches were built in the landscape, the morphology of which is often indicative of the participation of the workshop. Around the middle of the 13th century, another important cultural centre appeared in southern Bohemia, connected with the spread of monarchical power and the founding activities of King Přemysl Otakar II. The founding of the town of Písek and the major expansion of Zvíkov Castle required the construction of another South Bohemian building workshop, referred to in literature as the Písek-Zvíkov workshop. Its influence also reached the area around Milevsko, where the churches analysed and mapped in this thesis are located in the form of a catalogue. It will also include a review of the issue of the so-called Písek-Zvíkov workshop as it was formulated in Czech research more than forty years ago. On the basis of building-historical research and formal analysis of the buildings, the question of the influence of the building workshops should be clarified and an attempt should be made to place the South Bohemian buildings in a corresponding Central European context.

The results of the research are divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the motivation for training, the second part focuses on the use of the Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment by the interviewed special educators in practice, and the third and final part describes their perspective on the process of training in this method. The results of the research show that the Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment finds its use among the special educators interviewed when working with pupils with different types of special educational needs, who make noticeable progress after its application. The research may serve to motivate other special educators to be trained in this method.
The evaluation of 137Cs content in mushrooms and forest berries in the South Bohemia region
HÁLOVÁ, Jana
The collection and consumption of forest fungi and blueberries are among the most popular seasonal activities in Czech Republic. Due to the Chernobyl accident, however, these raw materials are believed to have contained increased amounts of radionuclides. The aim of the work is to evaluate the content of 137Cs in blueberries and fungi collected from South Bohemian region in the period of 1992 - 2020. Data of 137Cs mass activity obtained from the State Office for Nuclear Safety's MonRas database were re-examined for validation using samples of fungi (n = 318) and blueberries (n = 142). The results ranged widely as follows: (a) boletes fungus, from 0.18 to 6430 Bq / kg; (b) leafy fungus, from 0.28 to 4040 Bq / kg; and (c) blueberries, from 0.24 to 2046 Bq / kg. Between boletes fungus and leafy fungus, the former was seen to have a higher ability to accumulate the radionuclide 137Cs. The calculated effective dose caused by the consumption of fungi and blueberries was assessed as negligible, amounting only to less than 1% of the general limit for the population. Despite these favorable results, detailed monitoring of raw materials from nature needs to be continued and the safety of the food chain ensured.
